Kelly Dunlap has had some rather colorful and fun misadventures on the road leading to her current home base of Vancouver, BC and is looking forward to chronicling and sharing the many that no doubt, lay ahead.
The past few years in Vancouver have seen this anachronistic girl working in film, fashion and she is thrilled to now be embarking on her own millinery (ad)venture while still trying to keep a healthy balance of her beloved nerd pursuits. These include, but are not limited to : juggling, sci-fi, freediving, developing an iPhone app that will make her coffee in the morning, snapping photos, mischief causing, general rebel rousing, and searching for the ever-elusive Flux Capacitor – the missing component for a machine that will allow her to go back in time and find the even more elusive Mr. Darcy (for she is becoming increasingly convinced that he does not exist in this century).
With her steadfast belief in True Love and The Force at one side, and a 20ft cattle roping lariat at the other, she feels aptly armed to take on whatever shananigans are around the next corner.
Oh, and be warned now, she LOVES grammatically correct run-on sentences.
And a good shiraz.
Indeed, she finds that the latter usually leads to the former.
